Serious answers please. Yes this bothers us and yes we use a diaper genie. The dog will push through when we are changing her. I talked to other people and someone told me it is a deficiencie of some type with her health and I am worried about her. We use the food the vet suggested for us.

We do keep them away our worry is that there is some underlying deficiency we may be missing.

The diapers.
Dogs are going to tear up dirty diapers, if they can get at them. That is just part of their nature. It may be disgusting, but dogs eat out of the toilet, if it is not flushed,. and they eat dirty diapers.
I have NO idea why they like the taste of feces, but they do. apparently it isn't as disgustint to them as it is to us.
The training about tearing the diapers is not a training the dog question, it is training the person or people who are putting dirty diapers in the garbage.

Diaper Genie For Dogs

Pretty disgusting. Throw them away in a Diaper genie or in a trash can the dog can't get into. Doesn't that bother you? Having dirty baby diapers laying around that your dog can get into? And does your dog lick you on the mouth?

dogs are designed to do that naturally, believe it or not, animals out in nature like to be very clean. ever see a momma dog lick the bottoms of her pups? it's because her tongue is like a sanitizing napkin, and that's how she keeps them clean.
dogs don't think poo tastes bad. in fact, to their little tongues, it's probably designed to taste good!
