The webpage is bestpricecameras.com They sell Canon Digital Rebel XT for $569. It's unbelievable because it's $800 at other stores. Have any one of you ever bought anything from there? If so, please let me know if you got cheated or it's for real. I need a camera very soon. If the prices are really that low, it will be a good bargain. THANKS.

For background checks on vendors, use this site: http://www.resellerratings.com , go to the tab Store Ratings, and type their name in the orange box.
Bestpricecameras.com scores 0.19 out of 10. They're a total scam.
Also, in your question it sounded like you were confusing the Canon Rebel XT, a.k.a. 350D, a discontinued 8-megapixel camera, with the current XTi, a.k.a. 400D, which is a 10-megapixel camera. The XTi sells for $800 (body only) but the XT should only cost that much with one or two lenses included.

I don't know that I would by expensive electronics online. Do they offer warranties? Do they offer help if anything needs fixed? Do you actually have a real person you can talk to "in person" or do you only talk w/ a forener on the phone? I would rather buy from the store. I'd pay the higher price, so I could get the help of the employees there, rather than try to explain the prob over the phone.

It looks like a real site to me. It's like an online store type thing. It's normal for people to sell things for cheaper then in the stores even if they're new (take ebay for an example). I'd say try doing some research on the site before deciding.

generally if their price is hundreds below other sites for a NEW camera that camera is "GREY MARKET" meaning instruction manual may not be in English, warranty may not be AMERICAN...(not honored by American service providers and may come with less included accessories for example recently purchased Nikon D-80 listed price $589 but did not include battery, charger etc.
new American (body only) included both along with CD for Picture Project (Nikon's photo software) warranty card(American) etc
