My friend has been single for ages and can't find a girlfriend. I suggested to him that maybe he should become gay and he might get more luck.
He finds the thought of sex with men disgusting though, any tips on how he can successfully turn gay?

You can CHOOSE your sexuality.No one is comes out the womb a homo or bisexual.Its what that person chooses.If he tries it out and likes it,then hey,tell him to keep at it.But don't go back and fourth to a man and woman because AIDS is transmitted easily that way.

If he finds the thought of sex with men disgusting, then it's apretty safe bet that he's not gay. You can't turn someone - and it's certainly not appropriate to assume that he is gay, just because he hasn't had a girlfriend for a while.
Maybe you could be a better friend and boost his confidence a bit more by helping him find a girlfriend instead of being a twunt about things. You're obviously the expert so why don;t you share your pulling tips with him?
Or better yet, remove yourself from his social circle. The last thing this guy needs is an idiot like you as a role model!

The first thing he should do is not listen to your advice anymore. You do not turn gay, you are born that way. Why would you want to force him to do something that disgusts him??? He will find a girlfriend in due time. Leave him alone about this. Maybe he is looking too hard. Please don't advise him to "turn gay" - that is just ridiculous. Maybe your friends can introduce him to some of their friends until he finds someone he likes?

Since u suggested it help him turn gay. U be his partner for a while show him what to do to be gay since u r quite the expert at knowing how to TURN gay. Plus he'd be more comfortable with u becuz he knows u so long and u might not seem so disgusting to him becuz of ur long friendship. Who knows u both might enjoy it so much that u successfully both "turn" gay.
Of course I'm messing with u but hey try it u might like it.
Now for your information, as for "turning" gay no one ever turns gay. Being gay is a chosen lifestyle for millions of people through-out the world. Some choose to be gay or lesbian after a traumatic episode in their life like being raped as a child, teen, or adult. Some claim they r born gay. But either way it is a chosen life style of which u too and ur long time friend could easily choose to practice or not.
As for him not having a girl friend or ever having one doesn't mean he should choose to be gay. It may not be the right time for God to put who he needs into his life and if he waits patiently like he has she will come.

You can't turn gay. Either you are born gay or not.
I would get more if I was gay, it not disgusting, it's just I don't fancy guys (Gay men seem to love me though).
So I go get my heart broken by some more girls.

The first qustion has to be "why do you think he should be gay?" Perhaps there's a reason you're asking the question and that in fact YOU have an interest or ulterior motive of your own.

you are on to something - but not turning "gay", rather turnign bisexual, it has been done since ancient greece, just try to get him to shake off his religious ideas and let him know how lovely sex with the same sex can be. If you're bi, you can help him out. good luck.

why dont you let him find love him self? being gay is hard enough i have some kids who are and they go though a lot .i dont think he is gay he just needs to find that person.i have a sister who has been looking for a long time.and from them not being with some one for a bit its hard to get back up.love finds you not you finding it.
