haha... "guide me completely"... what else would you like me to do master?... you're asking people to spend hours and hours explaining photoshop to you?
I think it would be easiest if you told us what exactly you want to do with photoshop and we could tell you how, but teaching you photoshop, there is a LOT to it.
I would say to follow some of the links sent by other people or go to the library and check out a book such as "Photoshop for dummies" or any beginning photoshop book.
Photoshop is very powerful software, but it isn't exactly intuitive.
I can give you a few concepts that you need to understand:
1) layers - imagine a stack of transparencies that you can draw on, except in photoshop you can vary how transparent each one is and how it blends with the others.
2) Every time you make an adjustment (color/contrast/hue..etc) it can be applied to the current layer, so you don't actually have to apply it to all layers.
3) Brushes. When you are drawing, you can choose how transparent the brush is, so if you need to make very fine changes to a photo for example and you don't want it to be noticeable, then use a brush that is feathered (has soft margins) and has opacity less than 50%.
4) to fix scratches, spots and blemishes on a photo, use the healing tool in newer versions of photoshop or the cloning tool. Cloning means it allows you to draw with the source being some other part of the picture. For example you can cover up a scratch by cloning (drawing) a part of the image realy close to the scratch, on top of the scratch to make it look less obvious.
There's really a LOT to photoshop, and depending on what you want to do, there might be other software that is more suitable for you. It took me a while to learn things, and some things are still easier to do in other programs, but photoshop is still my most powerful tool.

I'm sure your software has online help. Also, you might try going to www.amazon.com and check out books, used books. I got a great book for my Printship21 and Jasc Photoshop 8 for a few dollars and shipping. I have purchased many used books here and all I have received so far are in "like new" condition.
