Don't you think it's strange how so many male serial killers hate women?

Most, but not all, serial killers are male. Many of them are fueled by violent sexual fantasies and have a pathological hatred of women. And as many of you probably already know, many of these guys were abused as children. I can understand why some of them would have issues with their mothers, but think of the many women out there who would also have plenty of reasons to hate men. There have been plenty of girls and women who have been victimized by men, whether it be their fathers, other male relatives, or perfect strangers. Also, men still hold most of the power. If anything, one would think that there are more women who would have a good reason to hate men than there are men who have a good reason to hate women. And yes, there are some women who are violent and hate men and there are some female serial killers. However, most female serial killers kill for profit or because of some mental disorder like Munchausen's syndrome by proxy rather than to act out violent fantasies.

It's easier to kill women than to kill men due to our lack of upper body strength. They're bullies. Lots of men have been victimized by other men but you don't see them going out and killing a bunch of guys, do you? No, that's very, very rare.

Personally, I think the male serial killers who kill women hate themselves and other males, too, but just find it easier to kill women, who they also hate.

So with the number of male victims vs the female victims your question has little merit. Hate is not a factor, but the individuals need to assert themselves over other of the same or opposite sex and in the more pathologic stages even consume their victims flesh to simply overpower the victim's spirit. It could stem form school, where girls ignored him and as he grew up and started to ask girls out on dates they may have turned him down or maybe laughed at him.

As this goes the man will grow to dislike women and the way they treat him, he has no control over them and they make him look stupid - in most cases, with the average person this will just affect confidence and may mean that you have less sexual experiences and less contact with females than others. However in extreme cases, these early experiences can lead to horrific results as they man goes out to get revenge, to make women take notice of him, to humilate women and to feel in control. It is no coincidence that in these types of murders there is usually some kind of sexual assault involved that will have been highly degrading.
