This lady gave her 3yr old boy and 6 yr old daughter wine coolers on a regular basis. The girl was constantly asking for them, because once her mom gave it she really like them. The 3yr. old got drunk off of them one day and fell out into the trash can in the kitchen.

I think the mother shouldn't have ever given those kids wine coolers. I know that they are very low on alcohol, but still it's alcohol. Do you all think that is ok?

For small children, the coolers are NOT low in alcohol. Their mother is abusing them. She may be a drunk and incapable of taking care of them properly. Even if not, her daughter seems to have developed a habit. This woman needs to be reported.

That is a matter for social services!!!! That woman should have her kids removed from that house! That is just sick that she would feed her small kids alcohol. The drinking age is 21 for a reason!! You should definately step in. You can make an anonamous call to social services and they will investigate. Good luck and for the sake of the kids please do something!!!

of course it isn't ok...wine coolers have about the same amount of alcohol as beer, would you share a six pack of bud with your three and six year olds? she is killing their livers, and getting them addicted to alcohol before they can even know what it does to them. You need to report her, because if someone else does, and your name is brought up, then you will be in trouble to child abuse as well. good luck

She's already made her children alcoholics!! That's considered child abuse, she could lose her kids if she keeps doing that. Feeding children at that age any amount of alcohol will do damaged to their organs and brains even before it has a chance to fully develop.

Heavens no. That is child abuse, endangerment (not sure if those are considered the same thing or not) and it makes me wonder if she has ever given the kids anything stonger than wine coolers. Please, please, please, do those kids a favor and report her to the proper authorities, true it most likely will cause them some heart-ache, but isn't that better than them possibly ending up dead because of her stupidity?

No, Digit & Red are right, she should be reported. The consequenses of her drinking wine coolers at that age could possibly lead to alchoholism

No its not ok. The alcohol can seriously effect their development. I think that giving your kids alcohol would be considered child abuse and if I were you Id report her. Its not only illegal but shes jeopardizing her childrens growth and future.

Only if you intend to be prosecuted for child endangerment and want to lose the child.

It's your duty to protect the child by turning in the mother.
How would you feel if something serious happened to the child and you had not turned her in?
It can be done anonymously.
