My daughter walked into my bedroom yesterday after I got off work. I am a nurse and had to work late. She was talking to me on the bed, and I needed to change clothes but she would not leave. I rarely wear underwear and my daughter did not know that, and I was wearing my scrubs. I needed to change so I just stripped out of my scrubs, and changed into some jeans and a t-shirt. I thought I guess she is old enough to know now. Well she found out. She said "Mom, you are not wearing underwear". I told her, "I never do. It is more comfortable without them for me." It was a little embarrassing to say the least because it was also the first time she had seen me naked. When she was very young, I could walk around the house naked and did not have to be so cautious. Now it is just us girls around the house. She said that she might try going without underwear, too. I told her that it is her decision, and that she could try it. Am I wrong for letting this happen and being more open?

cute mother like daughter ( good thing ) well its ok i mean yeah she should be ABLE to do that as long as she has her mothers right to do it YUP GO AHEAD!

my question to you is, if you thought at all that this might be a problem, then why didnt you just go into the bathroom and change? well now that you have already told her that she can try it if she wants, what do you think that if enough people on here tell you it is not a good idea. your going to go back to your daughter and say a bunch of people on yahoo, that i dont know say it is not a good idea. so i want you to wear underwear. dah!!

no...it was not wrong. you are the same sex...it is fine....I walk half nude in front of my 8 yr old daughter when the summer rolls around in florida. She is so use to it, it does not even faze her!!! I have a 10 month old son now and when he gets to be about 2-3, I will not be doing it anymore.
