The best thing for you to do is use a loofah or a make a sugar scrub with sugar and olive oil and gently gently scub your skin with it. I would use about one half cup olive oil to about one quarter cup sugar, then shower is off, after that don't rub your skin with towel just pat yourself dry and then add plain olive oil to your skin. It will moisten your skin, take off the dead skin cells and really brighten it up and costs next to nothing. You'll love it.

I've had really dry skin all my life. It helps to avoid hot water when showering/bathing. When shopping for soap/body wash, look for products for dry skin. I prefer a goat's milk soap or Aveeno Body Wash. Don't stay in the water too long (5 to 10 minutes is plenty) and make sure to use a good moisturizing cream or lotion right after patting yourself dry. Rubbing too hard with a towel irritates skin. I really like the Neutrogena Body Moisturizer but Lubriderm is good too. They come in a variety of types if your skin is sensitive. If your skin is really dry and itchy Aveeno makes some great products. The oatmeal helps with the itch without drying out your skin. To avoid irritating dry skin further avoid extremes of temperatures whenever possible and moisturize whenever you start feeling dry. I find a humidifier or even a vaporiser helps to keep the dry winter air a bit moister which in turn helps my skin.

Dry skin always so irritating...I hate it so much...I suggest you try using Zenmend Derma Lotion from Zenmed or Autopalm from Skinstore.com.
Zenmed has no side effects and it's non-irritant to the
skin. It's proven to works fast and it povides Maximum
results! It's certainly a good lotion to prevent further
outbreaks.
Another product that I think is effective is Atopalm. This dry skin mlm is one of the best seller at skinstore.com now. (Skinstore.com holds more than 10,000 skin care products) It's pretty effective, and worth the dollar paid out.

exfoliate your skin at night, then apply a Eucerin cream over your skin that is extremely dried out. By morning it will 10x's better than the night before. Continue as needed, or make it part of your daily beauty routine. Best of luck.
