No offence but if your on methadone its because you have a drug problem chemists are professionals not a dealer...they often use different sources for drugs...

Different generics made by different companies, but pretty much the same thing, but different fillers. If you thought one worked better that the other call the pharmacy and find out which one it was and the next time your doctor writes a perscription, let him know the brand and have him write DAW (dispense as written) so the pharmacist does not change it on you....be sure to call around the pharmacies to be sure they have it availble before wasting you time going to one that does not have it etc....I also recommend the book "Healthcare for LEss" by Michelle Katz...it goes over all of this as well as how to save money when getting your perscriptions etc....the book is only $12 on Amazon and worth it!!!!

Yes the potency is equal, How ever some generics don't work as well for some people. I take Oxycontin and was changed to the generic oxycodone extended release. The first generics I got worked well then the pharmacy changed to a different company and I got a different generic It didn't work half as well as the other so I had to request the 1st generic from the pharmacy. I have to call every month to remind them to order it for me. Its rare that a generic doesn't work the same but it does happen. Hope this helps.
