This lump has the possibility of being cancerous. The great thing is that your doctor isn't taking chances and is having it removed straight away. You need to try and remain positive. You are having the surgery tomorrow and they will then sent the lump off to the path lab to be tested. You will have the results within 2-3 days. Hopefully it's benign but if it is malignant you will be given treatment. Family and friends support is key to your recovery and keeping a poisitve outlook is very important.
I have not only worked in Oncology wards but I also had a hysterectomy last year in my 20s due to Ovarian cancer....hang in there....you will get better !!!!! xx

Don't worry now and don't jump to any conclusions. Wait until all the results are in and you will probably be told it is just a cyst. Your doctor is being cautious as better safe than sorry.

Good luck tomorrow

I understand-so much waiting and so much testing and it seems to never end. So much for your nerves, right? Therapy and medication has helped my anxiety and depression.
