tell me how can i install windows xp directly, i should tell u in details, listen i always used to install winXP by formatting hard disk and then install 98 then upgrade XP in to it tell me how can i save time by dont installing win 98 again and again ???????/// plz define in step by step

you need a full version of XP not an upgrade disk ... i would imagine u could keep 98 installed on an old harddrive and stored in a drawer until you need it ... if you need to install XP then just plug in da Second HD with 98 on it and let ur upgrade see dat one ...you dont have to install over the same HD i dont think ...

You need a copy of xb that is bootable. You can just boot the computer up with the xp disk in and use it to format your computer and install.

I used to do it the same way as you, i just hadn't realised that all i needed was a 'bootable' copy of xp.

the cd has auto run programme u can directly put cd & install it as any other games by reading instructions provided there
