im pregnant and im not due till july so ill be pregnant into the winter and need good traction on the bottom of some good slip on boots or shoes! where can i find them? like what stores ? if possible some goods shoes but for cheap money! i dont really buy anything online so any stores would be great!

i live in new hampshire so we get alota snow up here and i have a tendacy to fall alot during the winter and i just want to have some great boots or shoes!

Check at Payless shoes, or if you have a Shoe Pavillion in your area, they usually have some good winter boots. I bought boots at Shoe Pavillion about 10 years ago for $20 and they are just now starting to look worn.

You need Merrill's - not sure of the exact spelling. they make excellent winter shoes - I use mine all winter here in eastern Canada. Payless may have them, but check at a good shoe store in your area and they should be able to tell you where to get them. I actually bought 2 brand new pairs on e-bay last fall. They are not really cheap, but they are excellent for your needs.

check in the sportings good dept at any dept store, they sell them
to go onto shoes to add traction and you can get them cheaper
in the dept store then on line or in catalogs like Cabela's . They
are sometimes called creepers by ice fishermen. They come in
handy , when walking on ice or snow

The best shoes I have ever had with great traction and reasonable are Lands End all weather moccasins. Sears may have them. I would get a half a size larger and wear thick socks because your feet will get larger as you get bigger.

Try this winter slip on "cleats" for snow and ice at QVC. They slip onto your existing shoe so you can safely walk across snow and ice without fear of slipping. Available for under $20.
