I would like to move my Sky multiroom connection to another room on the same floor. Rather than get an extension co axial cable will one sender or receiver do or will I have to maintain line of sight? Interestingly I have telephone points in both rooms. Does this help? Thanks

Yes, it will work unless you have a thick concrete wall between you and the receivers

Yes, wireless does work through walls. It's only infrared that you have to maintain the line of sight with.

yes they do. you will loose some signal strength, but providing you are not talking about lots of walls you will be OK. they are not very successful in building containing alot of steel.
