I am interested if anyone has any info about a good hypnotherapist who is credible, and anywhere in Texas or New Mexico preferably. I lost a baby a month and a half ago, and I cannot get over it. We tried again, and I did not get pregnant, and now I have my cycle. I feel dangerously on the verge of touching the bottom because I can't "snap" out of this myself. I hardly go anywhere save for work because I can't bear to see babies or pregnant women. It gives me a sick feeling, like I really need to puke. I live beside a pregnant woman and I literally hide in my house to avoid speaking to her and hearing about her (she is due when I was supposed to be).

Anyway, I wonder if a hypnotist can help me because I have to get on with my life, and I need to forget so put it in a new perspective so I can carry on. I've heard of them helping addicts and alcoholics, I just wonder if my case could be helped as well.

Forget the hypnotised, see a shrink, they went to college, they know what they are talking about.

I am sorry about your loss. Hypnosis is often used in therapy. It is not mystical or magical. It is a process that promotes relaxation and imaging to help a person gain insight and solve problems. Make sure you go to a licensed hypnotherapist. There are many in Texas. Most insurance providers will pay legit ones.
Also, describe your feelings with your OB/GYN, some of your symptoms could be due to post partum depression, which sometimes can be serious following a miscarriage. They are trained to diagnose and treat this. Good luck.

You are getting close to the answer. Go and help the mentally ill and depressed. They are on line in yahoo. Your specific problem was made under stress and will pass only slowly. The hypnotist will recommend medicines to remove the memory but you can get a love experience to remove the memory too. You are locked into your own belief system and don't know that friends and family are all wearing a mask.

Yes, hypnotism will surely help. but it is ultimately you, who has to bring the results.
You need commitment and will-power from your side, and a TRUE, strong desire to give up the unproductive thinking. Hypnotism can only be catalyst, not THE therapie, if you understand what I mean.

I do believe hypnosis can help. You might also want to check out EFT. It is something you can learn to do yourself. The website is emofree.com. And it really does help with things. Good luck to you.
