No, I wouldn't - cos it's not necessary for them to cover their faces - just the hair on their heads. Their faces should be seen at all times. Besides, it's scary for the kids, as they won't know why a Muslim lady has to wear a veil.

Most people do wear a public mask, in the case of Mrs. Azim she just wore hers on the outside :)

I would consider myself a good muslim, and i think she took this to far.She is teaching small children which she does not need to cover up. I can understand in the staffroom as she will probably have the male staff there but in the classroom no,no
i think she was fighting for muslim woman rights in this country,
but not for the right reasons

It's not the faith or the attire of the person teaching, but the quality of the education. SO, yes... And, can you provide the story of Mrs Azim, Ihaven't seen it... ? THANK YOU

My son went to school in saudi. The teachers' faces were not covered during lessons. They always wore a full veil when not in the classroom incase any men were around.

A veil and a mask are different things. She should be allowed to wear her veil if her religion commands it. A mask is a costume and not for any religious purpose.

it depends iam not really worried about it after all we must learn to respect other peoples culture and traditional values as well so know I do not mind my daughter being taught by some one who wears a mask just as long as she is a good teacher and knows how to teach and does her job properly thats all that matters what she wears is not important .

if i knew that she was a good teacher and had respect for her students ... i dont see that it matters
i teach on a chat site ... no one sees my face ... but they respect my teaching ability on the subject i am presenting
infact i feel at times , a face puts some blocks between people ... how often have we came closer to people online because we are not making initial judgements

Of course I will, what we need is her skills & talents not her appearance... Ahh.. Forget about her religion.. What we need right now is... To make sure that she could help to teach our children to become a brilliant student.
