Most hotels would expect unaccompanied guests to be over 16, but there is no particular minimum age which is not dictated by common sense. I guess it depends on how old you look!

There is no legal limit but common sense would dictate you'd have to be at least a teenager. However, it is up to the hotel to accept you as a guest and would probably need some sort of parental consent (if for no other reason than to get paid for your stay).
