Cut down on portion sizes. Cut out fatty and sugary foods (fast food and candy!). Eat more fruit and veh and exercise every day. Walking briskly and sports are great for you. You dont say how much you want to lose but doing the above will get off around 2lbs week which is a good healthy rate to lose weight...;

You didn't say what you weigh now! So how do you expect us to help you. Further more, why are you worried about your weight at 13! You still have "baby fat" and you can't speed the lose of baby fat until you are "fully matured" - get another outfit, pants that fit, anyone and any boy, will tell you that it is What they Don't See that is Attractive, not What is Hanging Out. Don't try to grow up before your time sweet thing, adulthood is FOREVER! Enjoy your youth,before you have to do ALL the things your Parents do for you Now.

Since your a bit young, you should see a doctor before you start dieting. Best thing to do is exercise such as cardio at least 30 minutes a day and stop eating high sugar, fat, and carbs. Eat lean meats with lots of veggies and snack with yogart, fruit or cottage cheese. Basically, just start eating right and do some kind of exercise every day and you will see that you'll start tone up and thining out. Don't do any major or dieting because your still very young and growing, your body needs certain nutrients. Good luck to you.

the only way you're going to lose weight is to burn more calories than you take in. but you don't need to diet. you need to start eating healthy, eating enough to fill yourself up. eat six small meals a day. and start excersizing, but don't become obessed w/it. it helps to get a buddy that shares the same goals as you to excersize with, you can keep each other motivated. Most of all, i'd stress keeping a healthy self esteem/self body image. realize that beauty comes in all sizes, shapes and colors. Don't run yourself into the ground trying to look like a movie star, bc as Cindy Crawford once said "before the makeup ppl get ahold of me, *I* don't even look like Cindy Crawford". Realize that when you see your favorite pop/movie stars, and you're envious of how beautiful they are, remember that they have the best makeup ppl money can buy, and they're a slave to those ppl making them look presentable. they *don't* look that good at 5 am. Realize that you're beautiful already, bc you're you. You don't need to be rail thin to be lovely. I'm a bbw, and my wife doesn't want me to lose weight. as my mom always told me 'anyone that says they don't want to be w/you bc your large doesn't deserve your wonderful companionship anyway. they're too shallow.' looks fade, inner beauty is forever!

Hey I am trying to lose weight also do you want to do it together? You can email me at liivepiink@yahoo.com but if not then just do a lot of situps and crunches ... and when you do those suck in your stomach the whole time so it can make your stomach tight. Running will help also.

Do a lot of cardio (drink plenty of water while doing so) and don't eat any unhealthy foods! THATS RIGHT! NONE! Only fruits, veggies, whole grain, HEALTHY CHOICES! Still eat, if u fast, all you will do is keep the wieght stored. Just do a lot of cardio and eat very very healthy. NO MORE MC'D's!

Do sit ups and eat healthy! I have a 13 yr old daughter in 8th grade. She loves to eat but I finally talked her into situps and it's working for her.
