She might have ringworm. You should take her to the vet for an examination.

Jeez. Yes it's serious. The only person who can tell you what has caused it is a vet. I'm serious here, your kitten could die without treatment. A 9 week old kitten has only a tiny amount of blood in their body, so any bleeding is serious, but from the back passage doubly so.

Take her to the doctor. I'm not a vet but I had many cats in my life. Try getting these books "The American Animal Hospital Association Encyclopedia of Cat Health and Care", ISBN 0-688-13454-8, or "A lifetime Guide to Practical Pet Care - Better Health and Happier Homes for Dogs and Cats, by Jeff Nichol, DVM. , ISBN: 0-13-033844-3. These books has helped me save plenty of money but please don't use it in case of serious matters like what you have now.
Here is what the first book say about bleeding:
"The Upper Intestinal Track - If a cat is bleeding dark brown or black blood, the hemmorhaging is coming from the upper intestinal track. The blood is darker than normal b/c it is mixed with digestive juices."... Now, The Urinary Track - Blood in the urine can indicate bladder or kidney stones. In female cats, it can indicate tumors or cysts in the urethra or an infection of the uterus."
In both situation it suggests to take Immediate veterinary attention is required.
Hope all goes well, keep me informed. I would like to know too.
Thanks
First find out if she has a blockage, try to give her soft foods in case it could be something she found on the floor, a little of mineral oil will help. My male cat one time had this in his stool and the vet gave me medication for it. It may just be an irritation but it's best if you have her checked first so she doesn't suffer any discomfort or have this condition worsen.
Good luck with your kitty, and take good care of her. I have five cats.

well, I can tell you that if you "kitten" is bleeding, she is definitely not going to have more kittens (some people should not answer questions)
why don't you take her to the vet, you know yourself if you were bleeding back there you would want to go see a doctor.I don't know anytime bleeding from anywhere is a good thing.

Please take your kitten to a vet... it's the kindest and wisest thing you can do. If it is a trivial problem then no worries, but if it is something serious you will have acted correctly. Good luck.
