Has anyone heard of these schools i go to one and was wondering if you could give me your thoughts about these schools

Im a senior illustration student in Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA)
its smaller compared to most of the schools of the caliber.. There are good scholarship and loan options but the price is pretty high without them (around $35000)
We have probably the best painting department and among the best illustration and Graphic design departments in the US.. However the other departments are a lot weaker in comparison..
Anyway look up SVA, RISD, Ringling (for animation only-their other departments are pretty crappy) the Cooper Union, Parsons and Pratt (Not Savanna-).. For Canada try OCAD and Emiliy Karr
I heard these school were pretty good too..

There is a school of art in my school district its called Booker T. Washington High School. Its supposed to be a good school where many famous people have come out of.

what kind type of art? singing, dancing, visual? i know of a few:
walnut hill, in natick, massachusetts
virginia school of the arts, in virginia
LaGuardia High school, in new york
or if you are college age,
juilliard
if you can't afford to go to these year round, many have summer programs

Yea, I dont go to one. im still in high school
But I think its cool that they have that.
Instead of taking regular course like in high school. you can take what you are really focused on.

there's one in my city, but it's in a really bad part of town so not many ppl go there. from what i hear it's really good, but no one wants to go to that part of town.
