What side does the flap on a roll of toilet paper go over the top or under?

What is the reason for your answer?

I think it should go under the flap is hanging down & easyier to grap and tare off it is harder to tare of if the flap is over the top & you might tare it to short & there won't be a flap to grab.

In my opinion, the flap goes over the top. If it goes under, then you have to reach under to find it, and your icky hand might have to touch too many surfaces to grasp it, even the wall (ICK!!)

It's Usually Over The Top. In Hotels Especially They Put It This Way And When House Keeping Prep Rooms A Fold Of Both Corners To Make A Point Is Put On Top As This Is Easier To Grasp. As For Tearing In Wrong Place, If No Cover Over Roll To Hold Down, Do So With Your Free Hand. Hope This Helps Mate, Have A Gooday.

Over the top. Reason...so you can find the end of the roll more quickly. When the flap is under (at the back) a person has to fumble and keep turning the roll to locate the end.

There's a new supermarket near our house has an automatic water mister to keep the produce fresh. Just before it goes on,you hear the sound of a distant thunder and the smell of fresh rain.
When you approach the milk cases, you hear cows mooing and there is a scent of fresh hay.
When you approach the egg case, you hear hens cluck and cackle and the air is filled with the pleasing aroma of bacon and eggs frying.
The veggie department features the smell of fresh buttered corn.

I don't buy toilet paper there any more.

Over the top. Putting it under makes it harder to find the end of the paper than if it were over; not to mention it's a shorter reach if you put it over than under, by only a few inches, but who's counting, the easier the better.

Over the top . Most toilet paper has a pattern on it and the pattern is pressed or printed on the roll to display on the outside of the roll. So it is designed to come over the top for display .

I wouldn't know, I never put a new toilet paper roll on. The way it is facing doesn't matter to me, as long as there is some there, I don't enjoy sitting on the toilet with no toilet paper to use!! Am I right??

Wow. So many interesting answers!! Especially the one about the bathroom reading! In my home, we do bottom because of our two year old. Some people don't think it makes a difference but if you're left handed, it does!!

Under is better, lil kids have a habit of just pulling it and pulling it til its very long bu if its under then they know they must stop when it hits the floor.

Hes in eighth grade. do not do the bare image ingredient!! Hes in simple terms horny. under no circumstances deliver a unadorned image it may absolutely carry about complete distruction, embarrassment and harrassment. If he rather likes you he will practice himself to you.
