I think you are going the wrong road about this...try thinking on the lines of what can I do to help myself not needing these drugs....the Valium is a short term measure to help you cope...try to re -build your life so that you can manage happily without drugs...( I didn't know you could get liquid Valium)

As others have answered, the first thing you MUST do is contact the prescribing practitioner. Just know that after about 3 months of continuous use of a benzodiazepine, such as diazepam (Valium), there can be a rebound effect where the drug is actually causing the very symptoms it's used to treat. This is when a person wants to increase the dose, but actually it is better to decrease the dose for a period of time, then increase again....but again....you must ask the prescribing practitioner...don't take action solely on our advice.

No your changing drugs is not the answer. I've been taking the same amount of Valium 10mg 4x day for the past 20 yrs. The secret is to keep as little in your system as to stave off withdrawl, but have enough to take care of the panic or phobia. Also have the Dr give you at least 5 mg, benzos are far safer then the newer drugs. Treat them with respect and you'll have no trouble.

yes your body will get used to it in time BUT as always with a drug like this increasing the dose is not usually the best answer as it will just lead to an addictive cycle which will only compound the problems that led to you needing it. get to the root of the cause of your need for it and sort it out then get off the stuff it's nasty!

Don't play around with Valium, stick to what was prescribed and see your doctor and if he feels that you need more, he will prescribe it for you. Never take it on your self to self medicate - it can be dangerous!

The more the better. Yes, increase it exponentially, move to another country that has no controls on it. Buy out every drugstore. Remember, addiction to bezodiazipines is a life-long journey.

This certainly depends on your dose & your diagnosis. Your doctor can answers any questions you have, & will adjust the dose accordingly.
