No pubs are open for 24 hours a day, it's just that they can open for specified periods within a 24 hour period under local licensing laws. Whetherspoons pubs appear to be open for the longest period during the day, I've noticed that they are open at 9am or 10am in most arrears and remain open until at least midnight. Hope this helps.

A pub has become one of the first in Berkshire to be granted a 24-hour drinking licence.

The Hideout in Easthampstead Park is Bracknell's first to win permission to serve alcohol around the clock from 24 November as part of new licensing laws.

Bracknell Borough Council are currently considering 24-hour applications from two other pubs, The Winkfield and The Cottage Inn, both in Winkfield.

Three off-licences have been given 24-hour permission in Slough.

Slough Borough Council is also considering a 24-hour licence for the Spearmint Rhino lap-dancing club on Colnbrook Bypass.

In nearby Reading, the council has received just one application for a 24-hour licence, which is awaiting approval.

Don't know anywhere in London so you'll just have to come up to Scotland... In Edinburgh there is always a pub open somewhere! Some open when others are closing. Maybe that's why we get the reputation of being drinkers!

It does look a astounding accident that pub commencing hours have been prolonged merely beforehand of the ban on smoking being presented. So you could now stand interior the line outdoors a pub having a smoke, plenty longer than you ought to sit down down interior one having a drink and a smoke in a civilised way beforehand the hollow hours replaced! Yeah!, that became an astounding flow! As my close by publican has commented, what got here approximately to all the non human beings who smoke who've been complaining for years approximately now not being waiting to flow into pubs because of the fact they have been too smoky? They unquestionably do now not look taking great ingredient appropriate to the longer commencing hours and the smoke loose atmosphere!! that's unquestionably commencing to look as though this authorities has controlled to thoroughly smash the English Pub (somewhat like each thing else that they have got controlled to get their sticky palms into), as they are actually ultimate via the dozen simply by loss of organisation and the valuables being now extra powerful as a construction plot than as a paying for and advertising organisation. i assume it particularly is yet another scheme this authorities have dreamed as much as enhance employment possibilities!. So it variety of feels that it has now not plenty been 'longer hours or now not longer hours', yet extra a case of 'longer hours and now now not ours!!'
