Catholics think that breathing is a sin.

I was fed up with the nonsense they were telling me by the third grade.

Most al religions today consider this a sin.
some transaltions of the bible have translated down to this.
It is considered a sin of the body..
With all todays thoughts on the subject it is hard to undertand what is sin and what is not.
I guess it is more or less up to the individual to decide what is right for them.
is it just sexual satisfaction or what?who really knows for sure..

In many religions I know of it is okay to masturbate until one is married, then you cannot. I actually didn't know that in catholosism it is such a sin. Illicit sexual conduct with other people is a sin in Islam because it leads to children who do not have a family and that is unfavorable and could lead to accidental incest down the line if one does not know who the family of one's father is. But we are taught that it is Better in God's eyes if you restrain yourself from masturbation before marraige, as He loves those who have self restraint. But it is not a sin,,, at least what I was taught.

Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

This is accoding to the truth, which is from the word of God. KJV bible. Praise the Lord!!

Maslow nor the catholic curch have anything to do with qualifying something as a sin. You should be concerned about what God thinks.

In the eyes of the Catholic church, masturbation is a sin. The Catechism of the Catholic Church lists masturbation as one of the "Offenses Against Chastity" and calls it "an intrinsically and gravely disordered action" because "use of the sexual faculty outside of marriage is essentially contrary to its purpose." Whether it's a 'necessity' or not doesn't matter to these guys.

PS.I noticed the number of downs I got for reporting what the Catholics said word for word... Just because I reported this doesn't mean that I support it! I'm a laissez-faire Jewish girl, I don't give a damn what you do with your body, as long as you don't harm someone else, go wild!

it quite is undesirable in case you do no longer beat your meat to a solid magazine or video now and then. Relieves a great style of stress and it quite is relaxing!!!!! solid previous Rosie Palm and her 5 dancing daughters. a genuine pal certainly. additionally, lose the Catholic guilt because it serves no objective in any respect. I have been given rid of it at 18 years of age and that i've got been lots happier because of the fact that.

Masturbation is not specifically mentioned in the bible as a sin but lust is. If masturbation promotes or arouses lust, then it is wrong and should not be engaged in.

Having said that, God is very merciful and forgiving and He will not only forgive but will help His children deal with the self-condemnation and the urge to masturbate that many struggle against.

Anybody who tells you that masturbation is a sin should be locked up. It's your own body, for God's sake! Why can't you touch it? One Protestant minister said masturbation is "God's gift to the single." Maybe you shouldn't be Catholic.

Actually the real sin is the butchering you gave the English language with that question.

But if it is a sin, then it's one that ALL human beings share.
There are only two kinds of people after all;
Those that masturbate, and those that lie about not masturbating.
