The company's name is barely legible...something like Sensor Technologies, but I can't find a company with that name on the Internet. This detector has a plug that looks like a printer cable connection--9 or 10 pins that go into another from the ceiling.

Most electronics have manuals/directions on their websites. Try the manufacturer's website and if you can't find it, try an electronics retailer like Circuit City. They have a very extensive website that includes brand name reviews by customers as well as all kinds of other helpful information. Good luck!

Gees, spring for a new one. You can get a new one that's lots more sensative, doesn't have to be plugged in, up to modern fire code etc, for less than $10.
