yogurt it self is healthy. so you don't negate its health benefits by adding sugar. so the yogurt is healthy, the sugar is not. but overall i would say it should be good to eat.

ASPARTAME! Yeuck!
The only food additive to have to have a health warning! It really narks me when foods have the word 'Healthy' in their name and then contain aspartame.
There is an Early Day Motion in the House of Commons trying to get it banned. There are websites all over the net pointing out how evil this substance is yet ignorance prevails. The FDA provided a list of 92 side effects associated with aspartame, number 77 is Death! Read the links.
There is an Aspartame Victims support group on Yahoo. Do yourselves a favour and look it up.

Your best bet is to buy low fat natural yougurt. These are much better for you. And to sweetening them do what i do and add some strawberries, or banana, or any other fruit. It is even better if you put the ingredients in a blender. They taste so much better then all those artificial youguts that are around!

Both have their own benefits, so it depends on your priority. Do you want lower fat or less artificial sweetener?
Why not get low fat natural yogurt and sweeten it with natural things like fruit and honey if you are really concerned.
But I think in general, low fat yogurts are pretty healthy.

Healthy eating doesn't exist, well not in that form. It's better (in my opinion) to eat less full fat food, rather than eat allot of so called low-fat food. If you take into account the extra sugar (helping to promote diabetes) or the trans-fatty acids (doing more damage than lard)!
Stick with less of the honest full fat stuff!

It's picking the lesser of 2 evils really. Either the fat or the artificial stuff. I prefer natural low fat youghut which I can flavour myself with fruits or berries... yum!

Just because it says low-fat doesnt mean it isnt high in sugar. I tend to just eat organic plain yoghurt and add fruit. Its healthy and its really yummy :)

always read the nutritional information on the side of the pack for any additional artificial ingredients, some of them are genuinely low in fat and sugar, but some can be misleading

No they are full of sugar, a dietitian told me you are better off having a natural yogurt now and again, not so much sugar, sugar is worse that a little bit of fat

i have just finished eating a low fat hazlenut yoghurt and treat myself to one every now and then because it is my preference over full-fat puddings (i just like the taste) - i think these products are like any other - ok in moderation
