It takes a great deal of self respect to be able to accept everyone and not be paranoid about what they want.

LOL, no, quite the opposite actually.

Unconditional means that you do not benefit physically or emotionally from the act of accepting others as they are.

To do that, you must have great self-respect. It means that you do not feel threatened by who someone is, or how they look or how they live their lives, or what they believe in.

You would have to be extreemly self-confident and comfortable with who you are to be able to unconditionally accept others.

The key word search is your clue. Why does it work. It is the
traditional validations of our own histories that GOD must take
and reenact our spiritual quests. This very finite tedious and
precision duty shows each detail physically of the truth biologic
and there is the answer. Respect created in our own minds
is partnered to the unconditionally receiving of blessings. In
some people the choice is to give blessings. That is why this
alternate persona is not lacking.

Not at all- accepting others unconditionally is RESPECT in the highest for the Lord. It is what we are suppose to do. It all falls into mercy and forgiveness, hope faith and love and how God wants us to live and love-

self respect is not lacking for it is all for the glory of God-

I don't think it is a lack of self-respect, I think it is a lack of respect for the other person!

I don't accept others unconditionally and neither does God .... He does accept them as they are but does expect them to make the most of what they have. Remember the story of the 10 talents?

Not necessarily.
You can accept people for who they are without allowing them to take their problems out on you or take advantage of you. People who lack self respect may find that they accept people's inappropriate behavior towards them in the name of accepting them unconditionally.

Hello Red Queen.. :)

Jesus has no conditions on accepting anyone..He said come as you are..all ye that are heavy laden and I shall give thee rest..meaning that you do not have to clean up your sin before you ask Him into your heart..

I do not think I lack self respect and I also accept others unconditionally..but that is my opinion..everyone has their own.. :)

I pray I answered your question.. :)

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)

No, I don't think so. There's not much one can do to change anyone. I think it shows very strong self-respect to accept all sorts of people into your life. However, acceptance doesn't necessarily mean approval. I have a friend who is a borderline alcoholic. I accept that and continue to be her friend, but I certainly don't approve of the risk she puts herself in. And yes, before you ask, I've tried to get her to get some help, but until she can admit she needs it, she won't get it.

lacking self-respect would come under the concept of there are people too low 4 us 2 mingle with, and th@s a harsh perspective.

if u dont gel well with certain people, experience has taught me 2 vacate 4rm their prescence without hatin them (ie. leave in a healthy compassion8 way). otherwise its v. magnanimous 2 accept people unconditionally, although 4 many it might not seem natural initially=)

I think it is the opposite. I think it takes a person who fully knows who they are and is strong to accept others no matter what. You can ACCEPT someone unconditionally, but you can still distance yourself from whatever they do in their lives which you do not approve of. Accepting is when you love someone no matter what, you will help them, listen to them and be in their lives no matter who or what they are or even what they do.
