They need to be at least 8-10 weeks of age before they are found a new home. First vaccines, exams, and deworming should be done around 6-8 weeks. :)

Eight to ten weeks of age. It should be about Januray when you remove them. Make sure they are off their mother's milk. If they still nurse, it is WAY to early. My cats were about 10 weeks when we took their mom away.
But, when you see the cats just leaving each other alone, you can take the mom away.
If you are still not sure, check with a vet.

Many people might say that you should remove them at 6 weeks, but in my opinion thats still to early. I reasontly got a kitten my self, she was 8 weeks old, and it seemed like a good time for her to leave. In my experiance kittens that stay with their mother longer seem to be kinder and more friendly when their older.

With feral cats the kittens start to wander off on their own at that age so they should be ok. On the other hand if you are happy to keep them together for a couple more weeks why take the chance.

10 to 12 weeks is best. 8 weeks at the MINIMUM. I hate it when i see people giving up kittens at 6 weeks and sometimes 5 weeks, it makes me so mad. It is good you are asking to make sure.

they many times study via watching their mom and siblings use it first. some study slower than others, yet whilst in a week or 2 he nonetheless isn't employing it then get him checked. My chum had a cat that would pee in front of her each and all the time and whilst they went to the vet it became out she had an infection. purely positioned him in the clutter area till he is going.

Most Vets will tell you to wait at least 8 weeks and better off waiting 10 weeks. They will make better pets that way.

Start feeding them kitten chow thats mixed with some canned food, when they eat enough every day you can give them away.
