I believe there is a guardian angel on each of my shoulders. And, they do little things constantly to help me out. I say ''Thank you'' many times a day.
My religion says there are five angels---------one on each side, in front and back, and one above. But, I can relate better to just the two.
I think G-d does not take a hands on relationship with people, so he sends his angels to guide us.

Yes three years ago when I was sixteen just after I became an Atheist, my uncle picked me up after school. He took me out on I-85 for a joy ride. We were riding along next to this 18 wheeler at about 70 mph. Suddenly we just jerked just the tiniest bit and it seemed like just a little bump then we went flying through the air. The car after tumbling three times ended up in the median. My uncle was instantly killed. They had to use the jaws of life to get us out. I only had a busted lip and bruise from the safety strap. They said it was a miracle i survived. That I must have had a Guardian Angel. But I think it was a Guardian Demon more likely. I do have dead people speak to me. I have since I was five years old. Granddaddy begin speaking with me shortly after he died. My uncle who died in the car still speaks with me as do many others, even strangers. Yes I had a demon watching over me. But not to worry I was baptized a Pentecostal Holiness when I was five years old so I am a Christian Atheist. I have them watching over me from both sides. God bless kisses Betty.

Yes, I do. I believe that we all have a guardian angel, or maybe several. I believe that people who were close to us who have died sometimes stay close by to comfort us and watch over us. My dad died in 1980, but I have felt him close to me many times, and I believe he has saved us a couple of times from dangerous situations by warning us of the impending danger.
Then there are all the earthly angels, all those people who help others and do good with no desire to be compensated for their work.
Caregivers, teachers, health care providers, etc. can all be angels in times of need.

I was taught in school everyone had one of these and i believed it until Robbie Becker hit me in the back of the head with a softball on purpose. That ball was not so soft. I figured that between my angel and Robbie's angel that dirty trick should have been avoided. Later after Cindy Zwig's grandmother was killed by a hit and run driver on her way to confession I became sure the angels were bunk. The angel would have saved her or at least made sure she was killed coming home after confessing and being in a state of grace.

I believe that we are all decendants from the first 'human' that had a sole. I believe that a part of our DNA, the part that came from the breath of God, is still with us. That part of us that knows right from wrong, that instinct to care for/about others, the eternal knowledge/search for that which is outside of ourselves came from our Creator. That is our guardian angel. We ARE capable of an awareness of this. It is our free will weather we bother to do so.

Yes, and my Guardian Angel works hand - in - hand with my Spirit Guides to help, aid and assist me through this veil of tears. Have no doubt they will all continue until I leave this plane of existence. perhaps even after I leave this plane but this I will not know until I do.

I surely do as there have been times when my life was saved by only what could have been divine intervention. KJV of Rev 3:5 says "I will confess his name (whoever is saved) before my Father and before his angels".

I think that we have many.
Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.
While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.
Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.
I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.
I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.
I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.
Your brother

Once I did.. a few years back.. I was at the stop sign and I felt or heard something or someone telling me to change lanes..as soon as I did, a car didn't stop at the light and hit the car that was in front of me in the lane I just changed from. But honestly, I really think it was God. He looks out for babies and fools and I ain't no baby!!! :-)
