There is no disease by the name of antistrepolysis. However, antistreptolysin O titre is a test done for streptococcal infection. Streptococcus can cause rheumatic fever, which presents with arthritis and can damage the heart valves.

Strep infections can cause a whole host of problems. As your body fights certain strains of strep infection, it produces antibodies that connect to the antigens on the strep bacteria. Sometimes these connections attach themselves to different areas of the body and cause problems. That's basically what rheumatic fever is. If it attaches to the heart valves you end up with rheumatic heart disease. Be careful if you (or whoever) gets another strep infection because it can cause further damage to the joints.
