Are the dark underarms something you have had for a long time? If not, try to remember when it started and if you had switched deoderant brands close to that time, it could be a slight allergic reaction. There is also the possibility that the dark underarms could be a symptom of a health problem, so you might want to consider going to the doctor and getting it checked

Try a different brand of deodorant/antiperspirant. Sometimes a slight allergic reaction to the brand will give you a dark patch. Just switch and it will likely go away.I find that Dove products are the best in that regard.

tip: don't use lemon right away. it depends on the acidity of your skin. if it makes your skin acidic then it will worsen the darkness.
