Everybody needs to be rebuked when they are doing something wrong, whether Christian or not.
Those who ridicule and demean Christian's just for the sake of them being Christian should be rebuked. But if they are not behaving this way towards Christian's, then let them have their peace.

It doesn't matter what we believe, there is truth and a law in all things and when a person does not follow this or keep it then they should be rebuked. It generally should come from God. It doesn't matter what this person believes, these truths and laws do not, and cannot, change.

well, tolerance is a blessing we can take 4rm heaven and bring 2 Earth, because tolerance is a heavenly attribute (ie. God is tolerant).

the other issue is whether or not we should "...load people with burdens they can hardly carry..."(luke 11:46). u may point out some spiritual inefficiencies they have in an episode of furious rebuking, but if u are angry in ur rebuking, then u will not be in the mood nor the best possible mind-set 2 help them. in such a case, u would have "...load people with a burden they can hardly carry, and you yourselves will not raise a finger 2 help them."

after all, if u want heal the situation, its best 2 bring a solution, not an aggrievation (a.k.a. a rebuke)

=)

For being Non-Christians? No.

Anyone should be rebuked if they are drowning in arrogance.

As for your second sentence, many Atheists here wind up being combative and rhetorical because so many Christians and other Theists do the same thing.

It's a conclusion where guilt lies on everyone, not just Non-Christians.

So glad you are so religious and humble yourself I admire Jesus and don't think He said to rebu7ke any good person who mfollows the 10 Commandments and Golden Rule. IMy community is not arrogant I think you are a bit so though and I say this with all the humblness I can muster up. God be with you and don't put unsaid words in His mouth

Because we do not always see ourselves.
As long as you live they are going to get on your nerves.

As 1 person changes the next 1 will get on your nerves, and so on and so on, etc..................

My sister-in-law never admits when she is wrong. She will be nasty to you and say get over it. When you distance yourself from her she acts like you have done something to her and guess what she is a "CHRISTIAN".

That really irritates me, because the church should correct her but they make excuses for her. Now tell me if that is right?

Judge not lest ye be judged.

Tend to your own back yard. Lead by example. Do unto others as you would have done unto you.

Everyone feels that their own beliefs are the "one true faith". It has been the cause of many wars, and many deaths. It is not our job to force our own beliefs down the rest of the world's throats. Live and let live. To each his own. Take solice in your beliefs, but do not condemn others who do not believe as you do. For then you are just as guilty of arrogance as they are.

Maybe you only meet the arrogant ones. There are arrogant Christians too. Jesus called on his followers to "pluck the beam from your own eye before you pull the splinter from someone else's."

Sometimes Christians need to be rebuked too!!
Did Jesus get on Peter (get thee behind me Satan), and for his 'lack of faith'?
We tend to take such occurrences (rebukes) in a negative way; but they can work for our benefit,.

I would say this -not about non Christians-but, about Christians. I get so tired of their ''holier than thou'' attitude, and their constant harping about Jesus. I have a strong faith in G-d, but, leave the Jesus bit out. There are many religious people who do not accept Jesus as G-d.
