This is food grade dextrose made from corn. It can be used as a filler in sauces, gravies, pie fillings.It can be used in dry powder formulations such as cocoa mix, instant coffee mix, puddings, or any formula that you need to fill in with bulk or space.This product does not have an imediate effect on the taste buds. What i mean is that you cant taste the sweetness right away. It takes about 2 to 3 seconds for you taste buds to begin to percieve the sweetness.This product is VEGAN and KOSHER. It is excellent in baking or cooking.This product is not LOW CARB. It contains about 3.5 calories per gram weight.

Hi I came to Canada recently, I live in Oshawa near Toronto. I searched for dextrose powder(glucose powder) but was not able to find it in any store. The people in the store don't even know what it is. If any one knows whether any superstore like Walmart, Bay etc. stores it, please let me know.

You must have a health food store they will have it. In the US they are in health food section of any grocery store. Dextrose is just another name for sugar, they look identical to me.
