To see if we can!

The monitoring of the effects of the anesthesia is best noted by your recitation. Most folks should be asleep by 6.

My alcoholic dad could count down to 1 from 100, as the stuff just didn't have that much power, when the blood alcohol level is very screwed up!

I don't drink, and am out by 8, from 10.

If you have the correct amount of anaesthetic you will not reach 5. I had an anaesthetic and I was still counting at minus 20. I was given another shot and didn't make 2.

People are usually alittle nervous and it gives you something to do and when you stop, they know when you are asleep. I made it to eight - thinking at the same time, "This ain't gonna work!" - and then boom, your asleep!
