yes, pacing a car is a valid way of gaging the speed of said car, so long as the officer's speedometer had been recently calibrated. the reason he asked you to exit the highway probably had something to do with his not wanting to get run over by some other idiot doing 80+ down the freeway. maybe your car was too loud. is there an aftermarket exhaust system or maybe a malfunction in the stock exhaust? (and yes this is a citable offense). another thing i find interesting is that while you call the ticket B.S., you never actually deny breaking the law, you just state that you were going the flow of traffic. what does that matter? just because you see somebody else commit a crime, does that make it okay for you to do it too? no. at any rate, here's my advice.
step one: either pay the ticket or take your chances in court, either way i don't really care.
step two: take your no spelling butt back to school!!!

A former truck driver here. Here's what you do. Call up the number on the back of the ticket, clerk of the court, prosecutor. Tell them you got the ticket and ask if there is a way to keep it off your record.
A lot have a deal something like this, pay the fine, court cost and if no tickets in 6 months, it is dismissed.

No, we don't. We request the social risk-free practices variety because of the fact it has exchange right into a pseudo nationwide identity variety. maximum human beings do unlike that, yet in actual actuality, it facilitates to be certain somebody's identity, fairly in the event that they have gained/lost weight, replaced hair varieties or do merely no longer appear like their identity image. it is likewise very powerful if somebody does not have a driving force's license on them. maximum human beings don't understand their DL variety and it facilitates perceive them. Our branch coverage is that as quickly as we study an social risk-free practices variety over the section, we will not provide the call linked with it nor can the dispatcher. So those are maximum usually completed over the telephone. in my opinion i'd like a much better answer, yet i do no longer make driving force's license rules on the state or nationwide point. i don't understand why he'd permit you realize approximately the two civil judgments, that tips does no longer seem in our computers.

I live in San Diego and alot of times when t6he cops pull you over and look under your hood they are looking for drugs hidden somewhere. In San Diego I don't think your going to win the cops out here have been know to plant evidence and accuse people of things they haven't done. If I were you I'd just pay the ticket.

If the police cruiser speedometer was checked using radar after the ticket was given then the ticket is good. Is Nox legal in your neck of the woods? Is your vehicle modified?

You can try to contest the ticket in court, but he probably has you on video. "Going with the traffic flow" is not an effective defense against a speeding ticket.

CA. cops are desperate to bring in the revenue so they can get paid ! the state has been bankrupt for years now. I grew up in N. CA. and thought all authorities were like that in all the other states.....people kept telling me that California was a police state....I confirmed that when I moved else where. Here...they won't give you the time of day !
