It's not easy to figure it out because guys can be very manipulative and crafty and sly. One thing you can do is be very certain that he respects you as a person which means listens to you, your thoughts, wishes, dreams etc. and honors what you say. If he SEEMS to good to be true, it's not a good sign. Some guys are pretty good at sensing what you want to hear and saying it. Go slowly (time is the enemy of the scum bags), get to know each other in a deliberate way and, as above, make absolutely certain that you are respected and your views aren't "pushed aside" or brushed off.

here is how you do it...bear with me for a sec! after a nice evenin out of maybe after a night clubbin or whatever...go somewhere alone together...and have some fun...get him really excited...then just as he thinks he is gonna get some....drop a bombshell! tell him 'im sorry but i dont think im ready for this'! watch his face for reaction, obviously he will be disappointed but how badly, if he makes another date or like ditchs you, you will have your answer.
