There are two kinds of VISA Debit Cards, to use in India only and to use internationally. If you are Non Resident Indian (NRI) your card might be the second one, which can be used anywhere in the world. Please check the VISA logo at the outlets you wish to purchase and at the ATMs prior to make transactions.

yes if it has the visa logo, you can use it anywhere that accepts visa as long as you have funds in your bank account to cover it...it's not a credit card that you pay back later.

you should be able to use visa anywhere it is accepted. even if it is a debit card. some countrys will even convert the monies also
