okay so i just jump roped as consistently as i could for 20 minutes, from 5:40 to 6:00 but of course it wasnt exact because i'm not an excellent jump roper.
then stretching/yoga to cool down.
and i worked up a pretty good sweat, actually (from jump roping not yoga)
i'm not used to that much consistent aerobic exercise.

oh, also, i haven't eaten yet.

so how good of a workout is that and what else should i do today?

i wouldn't start out with 20 min of jumping rope but work my way up to it. you don't even have to jump with a rope, just jump in the air. its what i do and it works fine. this is really good for your heart so keep doing it. but starting out at 20 min may make you tired so work up to it.
also add 15 - 20 pushups
add 20 crunches
go for a nice walk around the block and get some air.
streching is great so keep that up.
it really depends who you are. some people like to eat before a work out and some people like to eat after. i would eat after if i were you because after the work out it gives you a chance to sit down a take a break.
modivation is great. try joining a sport or go dancing.
try kickboxing which would be best. or local martial arts studio. do activities.
watch what you eat. keep it healthy.
everyday you will feel better and better.
caution: take at least one day out where you don't excersise and just take a break. take that one day and only go out for a walk and do the yoga. it gives you a nice day.
hope this helps.

There are many web sites available that you can go to that can give you a variety workouts; from aerobic to strength training.
My favorite is www.menshealth.com. There are others so check them out and find which one fits your style.

It's okay not to eat prior to working out.
