Every time I've asked they tell me they don't feel like dancing, but they take the next guy who asks them. I'm not bad looking, is it because I'm short (5' 4")?

And if so, what can I do? I wish I could dance with someone for a change.

One spam and one who knows the name of my avatar. Could be worse, I guess.

Thank you for the replies so far. I'm in Washington state, so C&W is not exactly popular, although I happen to like it. Here swing is much more popular.

I'm not bad at dancing, taught myself for the most part but also took classes.

Steroids. That's their intended purpose.

Unfortunately, being short will automatically preclude you from dating a rather large percentage of females; height is number 2 in importance to females after buttocks.

However, for those who are attracted to short men here's what you do:

Take dancing lessons. I don't know where you live, but there are Country & Western clubs everywhere. Learning how to 2-step, waltz, polka and jitterbug AT A HIGH LEVEL will have women falling over themselves to want to dance with you (& C&W chicks are always the hottest, especially in TX). If you are adament about not looking into Country & Western dancing, you should still learn to be a great dancer in whatever club situation you hang out in.

Women love to dance, and generally men only do it out of necessity. If you become a really great dancer, believe me, you won't have to ask a woman to dance with you; they'll be the ones asking.

Your height probably has something to do with it. Make sure you are dressed and groomed well! Be real. Do not try to dance with gals who are more than an inch or two taller than you.
Be confident and remember..........every woman likes a sharp dressed man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
