In my country some of universities have "convincing rooms". They are makin us to sign a contract like "i wont wear anything which is not appropriate to a university bla bla" .. And this is called hijab which is not appropriate! I wanna wear hijab but i cant if i want to finish my education and this is a kind of oppresive attitude isnt it?

Ya they are doing it only to oppress the Muslims.I mean where in the world has someone heard of convincing rooms. This is just the begining of what has happened in Turkey.Girls in the third and fourth year were kicked out of there universities only because they wore scarf. This is so not right. The reason the universities gave was so lame. But Allah will show these lunatics in this world before death.

Personally, I believe that schools have a right to dictate the way their students look. I know this isn't the answer you wanna hear, but the way young people dress today is sometimes highly distasteful, and in some instances, offensive. Once you get out of school, then you can dress the way you want, either to your advantage or to your own detriment.

That is called "rules" get used to it, when you enter the real world, you know get a job, they are going to actually expect you to work, and to dress in a certain way. un-freakin-believable, huh? They will also want you to show up on time, have your a s s in gear etc.. sounds horrible huh? Grow up!!

PS: I don't care if I get fifty "thumbs down", keep 'em coming!! If you don't like our American schools, go back to wherever it is you are from, and get your education there, you obviously vigorously oppose the standards in our schools, and probably in our nation. Does anyone remember the trouble that was caused teaching foreigners how to fly...HMMMM

yes, it is avery oppressive system, and it seems to violate the Right to Freedom of Expression, as clothes are an expression of beliefs and thoughts

i would just cooperate with them. it does sound opresive though. but many places have dress codes here in the west.

how many people would force you to wear a certain clothing but then stair at you instead of lowering their gaze?
