Its been a month and he has not forgiven me as he was into me before but i was on the rebound so i went out with him for one drink but then went back to my ex so this is the second time but i have told him im only interested in him what do you think will he believe me and finally come around? i will understand if he does not as i hurt him once before.

It depends on him but hopefully for you he does forgive but unfortunately he won't forget so it may take a while just be patient and don't rush him

Wondering about whether he will forgive you is your selfish desire to keep him around.
When you learn the selflessness that love is, you will deserve forgiveness, also.
