My 12 yr old son sounds more feminist than I am. At his age, I was very egalitarian... But I have been through enough heartache by being feminist. Evolution as well as experience tell us that the woman has to make sure the man is invested, an that means HE must chase HER from the word go. I tell him that basically, a girl who asks him out does not respect herself, or is not taught at home properly, or just rebels.
He thinks I'm old school. I'm very new school- it's called mixing science and wisdom!
Does anyone have any facts to support either one of us?
