Somebody here saying truth. christians & muslims do not read their books. they read only what has been told to read - only those particular verses. if they read the a couple of verses before and after the one they are told to read regularly, i think what the questioner says here is correct.
yes, bible and qur'aan are similar in most areas. except that qur'aan is more terrorising than bible. ad for phillippines and indonesia you may be right as i do not know much about the history of those countries. but going by the history of these two religions, force must have been used to convert.
the odd man out here is Judaism. they could not grow out because of christianity. lot of jews from other parts of world are settling down in israel. some claim that they were the lost tribes of israel.

Islam and Christianity are not as similar as you are trying to make them out. Mohammed was an admitted murderer, pedophile, child rapist, and pervert, who urged his followers to be the same. Jesus not only kept from doing the things Mohammed bragged about, he condemned them. There have been atrocities commited by Christians in the name of God, but none in line with the teachings of Jesus. Most converts in Islamic lands did so to escape death or Dhimmi status, but most converts in Christian lands did so because of the example of missionaries. Take a look at South Korea as an example. No one forced Christainity on the Koreans.
Study my history better? There is so much material out there to support the exact opposite of the point you are trying to make that I suspect you haven't delved very far into the subject. Pick up the book that I have cited and it could scratch the surface for you.

There are two types of "Christians" those who are real Christians (People who try to do what Christ said) and the people who say they are Christian and lie. Just as atheism has it's extremely bad eggs Pol Pot, Lenin, Mao Zedong, each killed MILLIONS in the name of Atheism, and Socialism . Mao killed 40 million people! But I don't judge atheist by their worst followers if I did I would have divorced my atheist husband a long time ago (been together for 16 years).
I freely admit that Christ has had some really bad people abuse his name in the past. Even some modern day "Christians" make me ill. But just as I don't judge all atheist by what Mao, and Pol Pot did,
I ask you not to judge all Christians by the total jerks that abuse his name. We have some great examples of Christians as well. For example Mother Theresa, she gave her entire adult life to serving the most destitute people on the planet. When she didn't have enough food to feed the hungry children coming to her she would often skip meals, saying if they can't eat, I can't eat. And she did that all in the name of Christ. I am not a Catholic but I have to admire the dedication she had to the people of Calcutta.
Since all of the belief systems have good people and bad people you shouldn't judge a faith system by it's followers you should judge it by the book, or books that the people claim to follow.
Sure our Holy book says that all evil doers will be judged in hell.
And that all people have some kind of evil that they should be judged for. And the only way to escape the punishment you deserve is to accept the gift of forgiveness that Jesus bought for you, and honor the one who bought that gift for you. I see nothing wrong with judging evil , and I see nothing wrong with a gift giver who wants to take away something he knows you can't bare. And I see nothing wrong with a gift giver who wants to be loved and respected by the gift receiver.
The Bible also says that we should treat our enemies the way we want to be treated not the way they treat us. No sane Christian wants to be abused, therefore everyone who is truly a REAL christian treats others with as much respect as they can muster, sometimes we fail, but with people constantly calling us murderous thugs can you honestly blame us if we occasionally sas someone who is being terribly cruel to us?
On the other hand anyone who has read Darwin the man who "made it possible to be an intellectually fulfilled atheist"
knows the the main doctrine of the atheist is survival of the fittest, so Darwinist according to their own doctrine had no need to treat others with love They just need to be more fit then the person they want to subjugate. Darwin said some of the nastiest
things I have ever read about races he considered less then his own. He believed that that the races were stepping stones for evolution.
Read" Voyage of the Beagle" Darwin's own journal if you don't believe me.

Even for people with pride and hurt as you , Jesus died for. The Bible talks about the love of God, that He love the world and you so much that He send His only begotten son to died for your sins, to give peace. If you really read the Bible carefully you will see that it really talks about the great LOVE for non followers as Jesus said when the Pharisees were accusing Him because He was eating and drinking with sinner and prostitutes, His answer was that the sick needed the doctor not the well and He is our heavenly doctor. His blood, this blood can heal the sick, mend the heart, this blood can give you access to the very throne of God and still go the distance to where you are. If you been abused, hurt and confused, this blood is for you, the blood of Jesus. Smile Jesus love you and we too.

Religion is a highly competitive business in disguise. The more followers a religion has , the bigger the collection basket. If there really is a man living in a cloud do you think he cares if your Sabbath is Fri, Sat or Sun? The religions with the collection baskets think that it's important.

the place are you arising with this thought?? before everything, they don't seem to be cults. Islam and Judaism are religions, Christianity is a relationship with Jesus Christ. they'd say theirs is the only "real" faith, yet not hateful. Hate comes from devil. So i could say the only "faith" that teaches hate is Satanism.

Name one man that Jesus killed....Just one...Jesus is the Saviour and it is his example that his people follow. Of course there is day of judgment and Jesus paid that penalty for all who will accept his death as payment for their sins...So how can you equate dieing for someone else with hate. Perhaps your reasoning is bit off? Give this consideration and get back to me.So in all his life and ll that is written of the perfect son of God the only thing you an find to equate with evil is that Jesus died for others to pay for their sins? Jesus is God and he is righteous and merciful.
