recently,i made a system recovery to my hp computer.and what happens was before this my computer got virus so after i did the system recovery, there's no more virus.but the applcatios such as my games,msn mesenger,yahoo messenger, all still there.and i can also play the game.however, i cant use my yahoo messenger.so i tried to search at the (add/remove programme)
but yahoo messenger,msn messenger,my games, all not in the 'add remove progrmmes'...can anybody explain?

Its very easy.
go to system restore.
Start>>programs>>accessories>>system tools>>system restore.
and choose any restore point.
After this, you do not do anything. Your Hp work.

Registry is corrupt. Meesenger,reinstall at Yahoo. Download and install SP2 from Microsoft. Get a good virus protection program to protect your PC

You have to reinstall the programs..First you reinstall a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at

you restored it to a time before your messenger was installed so you need to reinstall it

It Seems you have Restored it on a date when these programs where not on your computer.
re-install them, most of them are free.
