2 weeks ago my boyfriend said he wanted us to finish. He says he loves me but just as a friend. We see each other every day at college and apart from the fact that we dont kiss we still act the same as when we were going out. I do still have strong feelings for him. he tells me that he wants me to move on and to find someone who will make me happy but how do I move on when we have to see each other every day at college and often at weekends as we have the same group of friends.

I had that same experience. I was married and we both had life long friends.
I choose to move on and moved to another City. This was radical, however it was the best thing I could have done. No Drama, more doors have opened for me here in my new home that I could have ever found stepping on each others toes at the same clubs, etc.
If you can try and get over him/her and move on with surrounding yourself with new Friends. Old ones - Tell them you are not being productive talking about him/her when they bring it up.
If that does not work. Move to another community.
You will make new Friends.

I know how hard it is. My ex-girlfriend said the same to me. It takes time. It took me 3 months to get over it. But women mature faster so it might take you a month and a half. jk
But for real. It just takes time. Try to find someone else, or try a new crowd (as long as they don't wear black everyday.)

i think time is the greatest healer but so is space.
in my opinion, you should distance yourself and explore. the more you see him the more youll go crazy. trust me, i experienced the same thing for 2 hellish years. and now im doin okay, were still friends and i have moved on.email me if you need somebody to talk to.

start dating some other guys ,try to get to know some new people ,just move on ..,he was clearly told you that you and him are now only friends ,so dont waste your time on him any more...this way you would feel lonely and unwanted....
