Itsn't a matter to be Christian or not.This same question could have been as well asked either they were muslims,buddhists or luterans. In my opinion the fact whether they will be saying that or not is depending on how much religious these parents are. Whoever is religious (of any confession) will teach his sons to follow his paths; I don't feel there is people who let them being completely free (and atheist parents will probably suggest their children to not believe in God).

WEll i guess my mom was a remarkable woman, She beleives in God, she took us as small children but as we got older she never forced us to go, she didnt say do this or that becuz its in the bible she said its just not right, and she was an example.
we went to church even when she didnt go, still doesnt go to this day, and thru the years we strayed but today we are all beleive in God, there are 5 of us we may not believe the same way But we know who God is in our lives, and are thankful. God doesnt force us to do anythinghe is a gentlemen so why should parent act anything but that.

No, I will not. What I will do is take my children to church and teach them right from wrong. Believing in God is the right thing to do, choosing to be a Christian is the right thing to do, and going to church is the right thing to do. It is my responsibility to make sure my children are brought up in a Christian home.

My parents allowed me to make that choice.
I was in Catholic school at the time, even.

Parents don't get to choose their kid's beliefs. To force the issue is abuse as far as I'm concerned. Just as, if I (a card carrying Militant Atheist) have children who choose to believe in god, it's not my place to forbid them. I can encourage them to learn what they're getting into and help them find out what their options are, but in the end the choice is theirs.

My children were baptised and I brought them going to church and being involved in the church. They are adults now and neither chooses to go to church, thats fine by me. They have a good religious and moral grounding and the choice they made is what they want. They may come back to the church later in life....;

Children when they come of age will have to make their own decision to have faith in God. This is a heart matter that cannot be forced. Parents can make their children's choice easier by training them according to the word of God and living a life that show the virtues and benefits of being good Christians.

This does not conform to what is taught about raising children in the Bible, sdo probably not. Ever notice how some really together families have all been Christians for a long long time. Check out the facts on that. There have been studies done. If you knew of one you would want to be in one.

Method to find one. Search houses until you find one with several worn out Bibles.

I will after they are 18 years old or older and have left home. I have until then to teach them about God, and to lead them by a loving example of being a Christian. If they don't accept my belief after they are adults, I will still continue to lead by example and pray that they do believe as I do.

No Christian parents will never say that way,
because they have tasted the love of God,
and they know who they believe.

I Hope so. My parents are (roughly speaking) Christians, well my mum anyway. And they didn't baptise me because they thought any commitment to a religion was my own choice. And I'm glad that's the way they went :)
