If I want to lose weight should I be concentrating more on eating foods with a very low fat content or fewer calories?

I mean, is there any point trying to eat more things/drink more drinks with nil fat in them but quite a few calories or does that not make any difference to weight loss at all?

Trust me on this! Counting calories does work, plus if you cut out "white stuff" bread, potatoes, milk, compensate with
skim milk, taco bread, sweet potatoes AND small portions. I have lost 33 lbs in 3 months. But I also took a multi vitamin. Hey Good Luck and be persistent.

Yes they definitely work! Losing weight is all about calories in vs. calories out.......meaning, you have to burn more calories than you consume. If you consume 2000 calories in a day and burn 1000 calories, you're going to gain weight. You must burn more than you take in. Obviously, eating things with high fat content isn't going to be good for you either. A lot of times, I've seen low fat or fat free foods that have the same or more calories in them as the regular version. By eating all low or fat free foods, you could be consuming MORE calories than you otherwise would have. But I've found that as long as you keep within your targeted range of calories, you can eat a LOT more variety of foods. You just have to make sure you can allot enough calories for them.

Calorie count reduction upto a limit is justified but if u reduce too much, ur metabolism becomes slow and u feel lithargic. Eat healthy food and take plenty of light exercises and be active in ur life.
