QURAN is the only WORD OF GOD in ORIGINAL/PURE FORM. Reason is clear in the verse below, that GOD promised to protect QURAN.

[15:9] Absolutely, we have revealed the reminder, and, absolutely, we will preserve it.

The ARABIC Quran is the same because Uthman destroyed ALL copies of the Quran that did not conform to HIS copy. Plus there are serious results if a Muslim rewrites the Quran (even if it is to correct the Uthman version).

However, translated Quran is different than the Arabic Quran. And each translator adds or takes away according to his personal beliefs.

For example, you will find "clarifications" in the translated Quran that are not in the ARABIC Quran.

The myth that the Quran is perfect and unchangeable is just another religious myth.

Wow...you should be asking questions that pertains to how to overome brainwashing..If the Qur'an is not corrupt because it isnt translated to different languages and then it becomes translated it must follow the same rules you apply to the Bible. therfore it becomes corrupt. and according to many Muslims this is true. Translated versions are corrupt. Therfore your religion must think God only wishs to share his truth with Arabic people or your Allah has a hard time getting His word out either way he seems totaly inferior to the true God who offers his truth to all people in all languages.

The Holy Bible is the same in any language.
Jesus spoke in a language that all could understand. When Jesus spoke to fishermen He spoke of fishers of men.
When Jesus spoke to farmers He spoke of sowing seed.
When He talked to parents and adults He said you must become as little children.
To those that like to eat bread He spoke of the leaven in the bread.
To those that were given to anger He gave the beatitudes.

The bible says it is of no private interpretation. It is good for salvation for all who believe.

Whenever a book is translated change invariably enters the text . It is unavoidable. Languages cannot be completely transposed. Therefore ; every different edition of the karun is a new book , per-force.

The Bible... yes it's in different languages, but so is the Koran. While Muslims will say that the Koran is only whole in its Arabic form- The truth wouldn't change just because of a language change. If i say "I have to go to the bathroom" in any language-it's still a truth. So one must wonder if the "truth" can't change languages- if it were truth at all. The Bible is true in all languages.
