I do not know what everyone think about Wiccans. I do know though that Wicca is a pagan religion, therefore, those who practice it, must be pagans by definition.

This is what the Encyclopaedia says about Wicca:

"Wicca is a Neopagan religion and a religious movement found in various countries throughout the world. It was first popularised in 1954 by a British civil servant named Gerald Gardner[1] after the British Witchcraft Act was repealed. He claimed that the religion, of which he was an initiate, was a modern survival of an old witchcraft religion, which had existed in secret for hundreds of years, originating in the pre-Christian Paganism of Europe. Wicca is thus sometimes referred to as the Old Religion. The veracity of Gardner's claims cannot be independently proven, and it is thought that written Wiccan theology began to be compiled no earlier than the 1920s. Various related Wiccan traditions have since evolved, or been adapted from, the form established by Gardner, which came to be called Gardnerian Wicca. These other traditions of Wicca each have distinctive beliefs, rituals, and practices. Many traditions of Wicca remain secretive and require that members be initiated. There is also a movement of Eclectic or Solitary Wiccans who do not believe that any doctrine or traditional initiation is necessary in order to practice Wicca. Some surveys estimate at least 200,000 Witches and/or NeoPagans in the USA alone"

I have no problem with Wiccans. In fact, I spent several years studying their beliefs. I think it's a wonderful way to live, it has much respect for the earth, and much tolerance for the other less tolerant religions. I also love that it's not organized by churches, and you can be a solitary witch, and you have to research, research, research everything you believe. Unlike some other religions who just throw quotes from some book they've never actually read out instead of thinking for themselves.

What do I think about Wiccans?

Well, they're people, just like everyone else. And just as diverse as any other group of people. There some good ones and there are some bad ones.

Wicca itself though, is a beautiful and peaceful religion that has been very rewarding for me.

Since I'm agnostic, I'm neutral, and I'm also generally non-judgemental about religions..

Wiccans are pagan (I think)--obviously I don't know much...
Most people think they're "weird" or whatever, but those people don't know anything about the religion--usually small religions are criticized a lot.

But I think of them [Wiccans] just like I think of Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc. They have their traditions and other religions have their traditions.

No problems with them. I like their respect for nature. However, I don't think spells work and they can be selfish (I KNOW they shouldn't be, because of the rules you have, but it's tough not to just ask for something you want.)

I think they are open minded people who do not condemn those who do not follow the're own religion like Christians do.Of course, there is nothing wrong about being a Christian, but I just wish they would quit sticking their noses into other people's business!

Dangerous, keep away. They claim to have powers and can put curses on some. They use objects and rituals, claim they see what others do not.
