I know it's not a full answer to your question, but there are very good online resources for English as a Second/Foreign Language learners.

For listening activities esl-lab.com is a great site, it has exercises from beginners to experts and even English in specific contexts.

For grammar exercises, chompchomp.com is just great.

Practise what you know. There are many online sites. Check www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/index.shtml -, and do the audio lessons and whenever you can converse. That is the best way to learn a language.

These are all great ideas. You can also get yourself lots of internet friends who will help you learn quickly. Get on the undernet and chat to people in other countries explaining that you want to learn the language. People will jump to help you.

carry around english speaking human beings. an previous roomate of mine substitute into from ghana and her english, to be frank sucked. yet after 0.5 a year later we had her cussin ,shouting and speaking solid english. her accessory continues to be there yet you could understand her of course

watch english shows
