I’m a Roman Catholic, and therefore a Christian. But I profoundly respect the other two monotheistic religions, i.e. Islam and Judaism.
Irrespective of what you and I may believe, and whether you and I are of the opinion that one is right and the other is wrong, you can be sure that there is a UNIQUE MERCIFUL GOD, for all of Mankind, whose name is irrelevant, for GOD is over and above man’s inventions –and language is man’s invention- and who undoubtedly understands man’s limited intelligence is the reason of all our problems.
We, Christians, believe that Christ died in the Cross to redeem Mankind from its sins.
Muslims and Jews do not believe Jesus is the Son of God.
But, whether you are right or we are right, as I said GOD is well over and above our little differences, and as long as we behave as our Scriptures, or the Al-Koran or the Talmud truly say, and we do not pay attention to the religious fundamentalists there exist in our three religions, I believe we are alright.
I have read the Koran and the Talmud and I think that both Holy Books, like our Scriptures preach love NOT hate…

No, I'm not going to visit any site. I'm a Christian and I know Jesus Christ is the Son of God, he died on the cross for my sins. Everything that was wrote in the Old Testament came true and everything in the New Testament is coming true and that's how I know that it is the Word of God.

OK, What if your Islam is a False Religion?

What if your Prophet was a Fake?

How can you be so sure that your Religion is the "True" one?

Mohammad's life story is not at all one that can be called "inspiring". He sounds like an opportunist, to me.

He married a woman who was 20 years older than him, who was his boss, called Kadhijah. He then married 11 more women, one of whom was 63 and died 3 months after she was married to him. He also made his lieutenant - Abu Bakr give him the 9 year old daughter - Aisha for his wife!?

How can you expect me to "Respect" such a man?

And how can you expect me to believe that he had direct Conversations with God?

Then, if Islam is not a "True Faith", will I not be risking my immortal soul by following it?

Incidentally, the information about Mohammads marriages were given to me by a Muslim Cleric! Though he was very proud of Mohammads acievements, not knowing that he was putting me off.

That Cleric countered my question regarding how can you follow a man who decrees that all other Muslims can have only 4 wives at max, and that too, he may not marry even the second woman if the first is alive and free of any incurable disease and even in that case, only with the first wifes permission ... and then had 12 wives for himself[!?] with "The Prophet can do it, not ordinary people!" ???

Granted I'm a Westerner and our cultures are different, but then we can't be expected to blindly such stuff!?.

To truly learn about a religion one should study it's leader's history.

Here is what is undisputed about Muhammad.

His father died just before he was born. His mother turned him over to nonrelatives to raise.

His Uncles and Grandfather took over Muhammad's father's assets leaving him poor. He had to go to work for a woman (whom he later married).

His sons died as children. His first wife died.

He would leave his family for long periods of time to go on caravan. When he was home he would retreat to a cave for days at a time.

He claimed to have visitations from an unidentified voice (later a Christian relative told him that the voice HAD to be that of the Angel Gabriel - but the voice never made that claim!).

He was a violent man who violated his own rules. For example, when people stole from him, he tortured and killed them when his law said first time stealing was the loss of one hand.

Muhammad killed, ordered, or approved the killing of many people for minor "crimes" as rejecting Islam.

Some of Muhammad's own family disputed his status as a religious leader/prophet.

First he said he was merely a apostle. Then later claimed to be a prophet. And even later claimed to be "the last prophet."

Muhammad did not compile the Quran. This was done years after his death by Caliph Uthman. Uthman had a committee compile the Quran and destroy all previous copies and deleted any verses that Uthman did not find suitable.

That is the history of Muhammad and the Quran.

Do you REALLY know Islam?

All prophet's of God had same message ..and the message was
worship one God as we Muslim do..
Christian's believe in trinity Holy ghost, son and father that dos not
sound like they are worshipping one God ,even though Jesus said I can do nothing without the will of God ...

concept of God in Hinduism ...
The following verses from the Upanishads refer to the Concept of God:

"Ekam evadvitiyam"
"He is One only without a second."
[Chandogya Upanishad 6:2:1]1

"Na casya kascij janita na cadhipah."
"Of Him there are neither parents nor lord."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 6:9]2

"Na tasya pratima asti"
"There is no likeness of Him."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:19]3

The following verses from the Upanishad allude to the inability of man to imagine God in a particular form:

"Na samdrse tisthati rupam asya, na caksusa pasyati kas canainam."

"His form is not to be seen; no one sees Him with the eye."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:20]4

quran say's clearly in verse 114 that He (God) is one and only
as we Muslim's believe ..
Bible gives the same message but Christian's don't believe..
Bhagwat gita,Vedas gives the same message but hindu's don't believe
so judge your self which relegion is on the true path....

Islam now undergoes extreme acid test. They need to double their effort in enlightening the public as to what Islam intends to accomplish. To what I see, they are not only up against other faiths which look down at Islam but in there own background as well they have to do some cleaning. So , in my opinion, it's not easy to convince others to take a look on Islam because of that bad publicity it is getting from. They rather prejudge Islam(because it is easier) than spend time to understand and confuse themselves with what they want to hear and what they want to believe.

So Muslim brothers. Double your effort. Don't lose heart.

Islam claims that Jesus was a prophet- Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life and no man comes to the Father except through me. You are right, you cannot be a follower of God and agree fully with the teachings of Islam. Funny how Islam mentions Jesus- but The Bible only mentions that there will be false Prophets coming...

Heres what I know...and you should research it too. First I know God and really had no reason to research Islam. Then after answering questions like yours I have in defense of My religeon studied some of yours.Heres what I have found. This man Muhammed was obviously not prophet of God because he taught contrary to the word of God. Muslims have called the word of God corrupt even though the Qur'an taught that the Torah and New Testment are the true word of God. The problem seems to be that Muhamed wanted to be a prophet of God and in agreement with him but lacked understnding as he didnt know God. The truth seems obvious when you research that the Bible and Torah are the same as before Muhamed was born and many copies are still around today therefore this can easily be proven. So if Muhamed called these holy and Muslims now say they are corrupt it is simply because they disgree with the Qur'an. Now this makes it clear that Muslism's are following a false prophet and worship a very differen't God. Now I invite you to seek the truth and to know the true God through his word by seeking the salvation provided you by God through the atonement provided by our lord Jesus Christ.
